100% Nebbiolo from the single Cru Monvigliero, destemmed & cold macerated for a few days. Fermented in French oak tonneau for about 10 days with regular punch-downs and pump-overs. Post-fermentative maceration for about 3-4 weeks, and aged for a minimum of 18 months in oak. An intense, and full bodied Barolo, with notes of sweet spices, violets, and tobacco. It pairs well with dishes like risotto, game meat, and aged and spicy cheeses.
