An intense, spectacular red wine from Aglianico grapes that macerate for 12 months in terra cotta anforas. These grapes have been selected from vineyards of about 90-100 years of age. The wine spends another 12 months in large barrels. Open at least an hour before drinking, to allow the aromas of plums, earth and leather to shine, and bold tannins to open up. Fun fact: the label is a reproduction of a piece of art that hangs in the di Gruttola's living room.
