Grape varieties: Zweigelt, Cabernet Franc
The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, and crushed by foot; the juice ferments in large barrels with indigenous yeast without any racking. After fermentation, the wine is aged for two years in 1000 litre barrels.
This wine is made with natural methods, but at the same time very precise. With soft, but firm tannins, this wine oozes intense fruit of cherries and cassis, with savoury and spicy notes adding complexity.
Delicious will all sort of red meat and mushroom dishes.
