Grape variety: Aglianico
Aglianico from a remote vineyard around 75 years old, planted almost 500 metres above sea level. After a month of maceration and two years élevage in old chestnut casks, this is a wine full of complexity and dark spicy fruits, tobacco and pepper notes. This is an excellent food wine, with tannins that are firm but structured, balanced by refreshing acidity. A wine that can be enjoyed now, but also cellared for a couple of years.
