"The 2021 Barolo has a lovely, layered spice profile on the nose, with bright notes of ripe cherries, fresh flowers, anise, and juniper. It is pure and approachable upfront, with refined tannins and a medium-bodied feel, although it has good richness and elegance. It’s a very harmonious entry Barolo to drink now and over the coming 10-12 years."

"The 2021 Barolo is a fine introduction to this range. Aromatic and nicely layered, with fine persistence, the 2021 has a ton to offer. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, chalk white pepper, incense and dried flowers all come alive in the glass. Unlike most wines in its peer group, this mid-weight Barolo needs a bit of time in the bottle. Drinking window: 2027-2033."
