85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Carignan (over 4 ha), from vines located in the village of Buisson, north of Rasteau with northern exposure, on clay sub soil and gravelly sandstone on a top soil of sedimentary rock made up of agglomerated sands bound by limestone. These are the oldest vines of the estate: some of the Grenache and Carignan vines are 80 years old.

Elodié Balme uses only ambient yeasts and tiny amounts of sulfites. A refreshing wine with bright fruit, elegant and precise, as well as spicy and floral notes.

On the 2024 vintage:
"The vibrant, perfumed 2024 Côtes du Rhône Rouge from Elodie Balme is a blend of 60% Grenache Noir, 30% Carignan and 10% Syrah. Bursting with aromas of dark cherries, tapenade, lilac, violet and spice, it’s medium-bodied, polished and supple, with a juicy core of fruit, velvety tannins and a long, floral and ethereal finish. Crafted from vines planted on sandstone and marl soils, this is a pure and gourmand expression of Elodie's thoughtful winemaking."
