Special cuvée, made up of all 7 of the heirloom varietals of Champagne (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Petit Meslier, Arbanne, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris); each varietal is from a specific terroir, picked and vinified separately, then aged in a 7-year Solera and bottled without dosage. Very textured, with layers of cream, brioche and subtle almond notes, this is rich, but perfectly balanced. With great concentration and freshness of fruit, this manages to adroitly straddle the line between power and elegance. Underscored by sweet spice and candied ginger, this is a wine that just keeps building in complexity. The finish is long and with incredible saline minerality. A compelling wine!
