Grape: 100% PJCOL Ross
This Lambrusco is made entirely from the ancient and endangered PJCOL Ross grape variety (pronounced "Picoll") in the metodo classico style. The variety was uprooted by many grape growers because of its naturally low yields, but the Rinaldini family committed to saving this indigenous grape and now have 3 hectares planted. They are the only estate producing a single variety PJCOL Ross Lambrusco, and for us this is the most special and interesting Lambrusco in the world. A rustic wine with high acidity and intense black plum notes.
