From a careful selection of young vines grown on sandy-silty alluvial clay soils with a lot of surface river stones and pebbles. The yields are very low, typically around 30 hl/ha and the harvest is done by hand. Fermented for 2 to 3 weeks with very little intervention, only one cap-punching and some pumping-over. The wine then matures for 8 months in stainless steel tanks.
As sisters Lucie and Nancy are committed to low intervention winemaking, only a tiny bit of sulfur is added right before bottling.
This is a very fresh wine oozing red fruits and well-integrated elegant tannins.
