This is really a Barbaresco in disguise. Fruit comes from one of the appellation’s best crus in Starderi and the wine ferments for over a month on skins. Like all great producers in the Langhe, the same care and attention to detail goes into this ‘lesser’ bottling, producing an elegant wine that defies its humble designation.
