100% Chardonnay, in a blend of 40 to 50 year old vines from parcels of Le Cotet, Les Paluets and La Grande Côte. La Grande Côte lies at the base of the Montgueux slope, where oldest vines are from 1960s, and the heavier soils give ample and broad wines, full of pineapple and mango. Lassaigne uses the younger vines of Le Cotet for this cuvée as the older vines go into the single vineyard Champagne Le Cotet.
This vintage Blanc de Blancs offers aromas of apples and lemon, with distinct notes coming straight from a French patisserie: butter, marzipan and pastries. A both fresh and powerful wine with incredible length.
