Variety: Nebbiolo 100%
Vinification: destemming with cold maceration for a few days. Fermentation in temperature controlled tanks for 7-10 days with regular pumping over and rack-and-return. Post-fermentation maceration for 20 days.
Ageing: a minimum of 18 months in wood.
An intense, and full Barolo, perfect to pair with dishes containing truffle or porcini mushrooms, game, aged cheeses, or pastries and chocolate.
2016 was unanimously received as an excellent vintage for Barolo, one of the best in decades.
