Grüner Veltliner from 40 year-old vines. The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, and crushed by foot. The juice ferments in large barrels with indigenous yeast and no racking; 4 years in 1000 litre barrels. This exquisite wine spends four years in cask and is mineral driven. The freshness and complexity linger on the palate, with green apple flavours and spicy notes of cloves and allspice, followed by a touch of creaminess.
