Grape variety: Nebbiolo
The Barbaresco "Recta Pete" (Dave Fletcher's historical Scottish family clan name that means "Shoot Straight") displays classic aromas of orange peel and roasted nuts, dry but inviting tannins, and a delicate, long finish. This wine is a blend from the two crus, Starderi and Roncaglie. Elegant but expressive at the same time, this is a wine to cherish and keep in your cellar for a few more years.
All David's wines are made with a 'pied de cuve' method, and he uses old wood in the form of barriques and botte grande. He refrains from using fining agents and never filters his wines.
