The soils are generally low-fertility sandy loam.
Once harvested, the grapes are stored in stainless steel tanks to begin maceration for 9 days at a temperature between 22ºC. and 24ºC. Once the maceration is over, the grapes are pressed, separating the wine pressed at low pressure from the high pressure wine. The low pressure wine is intended for making Mèdol Selecció wine.
The 2018 vintage was aged on the lees for 9 months in stainless stell, stirred once a week for smoothness and body, and to prevent reduction. The wine is bottled with a small percentage of lees to improve the evolution of the wine over time, so it is advisable to decant the wine before pouring. This wine offers generous notes of red and black fruits (cherries, blackberries, blueberries), structured with marked tannins.
