Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
100% Pinot Noir from sandy and loamy soils. The hand-harvested grapes are direct pressed and then fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged for roughly 18 months in older oak barrels; barrique and larger.
This is a passion project from Burja, as the Noir is the only non-local variety in their vineyards. Pinot Noir is well suited to the soils and climate, and the variety is picked from ten to twenty year old vineyards.
