"Sourced from only the south-facing portion of the vineyard, the estate holds the Barolo Ginestra back an extra year in bottle before release, with a minimum of 18 months in bottle. The 2019 Barolo Ginestra lifts with compact notes of raspberry liqueur, pressed flowers, sweet berries, candied fruit licorice, and fresh rosemary. Medium-bodied, it has a tenser, more compact structure, speaking to the vintage with grippy ripe tannins, a long, mouthwatering finish, and good ripeness throughout. It has a more chiseled feel but remains pure. Drink it over the coming 20 years."

"The nose exudes a savory depth, with notes of forest floor and tar mingling with dried red fruits and an array of dried herbs, presenting an intensely savory bouquet. On the palate, it shows elegance and refinement, with flavors of red currant and sour plum laced with thyme, all carried by vibrant acidity. The tannins are well defined, embodying the wine's classic structure. Drink 2026-2045."
