100% Pinot Noir. A still wine, made from their oldest plots. The grapes are manually destemmed and macerated in clay eggs for one month. The wine is then aged 12 to 18 months in barrels. A unique cuvee that is able to age another 5 to 10 years.
"My favourite is Benoit Lahaye's Bouzy Rouge, which allies a contemporary sense of ripeness and intensity with a detailed minerality and an elegant tannic structure." Peter Liem, Champagne, 2017.
