Harvested by hand in October from a vineyard the family owns in Colle San Clemente, with clayey and silty-loamy, calcareous soils. The grapes macerated on the skins for 30-45 days, and the wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of different sizes (225L to 2500L), and a minimum of 6 months in bottle.
Bright fruits -cherries and blackberries- on the nose, with a spiciness, characteristics enhanced by a slightly vegetal note. It is a wine that is as structured as it is fine, always fresh, vital and with excellent persistence.
Very drinkable now, but the wine can also be cellared for another 8-10 years.
