This Beaujolais Nouveau comes from old Gamay vines planted on granite soils. Working with great care for the environment, Jean-Claude Lapalu does not use chemical fertilizers or herbicides. He only uses biological treatments and the yields are very limited. The harvest is of course, manual.
To keep the Nouveau grapes fresh and crisp, they undergo carbonic maceration in stainless steel tanks in the winery. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts and the juices are not filtered or clarified and no sulphites are added.
A wine to open straight away; fresh, fun and rich in fruity aromas.
