100% Gamay grown on a mix of clay and limestone in the southern part of Burgundy. The wine is fermented spontaneously by native yeasts and unfined and unfiltered. With ripe blackberry, candied cherry, violet, and spicy notes, the palate is dense but balanced and lifted by firm acidity. The finish is very long with saline minerals. A deep and penetrating Gamay, this has a dense ruby colour with complex aromas of blackberry, black cherry, strawberry, black pepper, herbal notes and fragrant violets.. The palate is linear and elegant with black fruits, earth and mineral overtones and a finish that goes on for minutes.
