She considers this wine “a journey in a glass,” as it will continue to evolve after the first pouring. A full-bodied wine with notes of marmalade, star anise and almond. A rich, structured savoury wine for hearty food.

"Dried apricots mix with nuances of mint and autumnal spice as the 2020 Ribolla evolves in the glass. It splashes across the palate with ease as notes of sun tea and white peach meld over a tactile core of salty minerals. The Ribolla leaves a saturation of sour citrus that puckers the cheeks. Hints of sour melon add further tension through the long, gently tannic finish. The balance here is fabulous, but do give the 2020 some more time to mellow."
