The Welschriesling grapes (known locally as Rizling vlašský) for this wine are harvested by hand and destemmed before pressing. The grapes are fermented in 300-liter open top barrels, followed by maturation in the same barrels for about 4 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with a small addition of sulfur.
