Grape Variety: Gamay
The Chiroubles comes from a single vineyard of 70 years of average age; the grapes are vinified in cement and aged in steel and neutral oak for six months. Medium bodied, elegant and fruity. Chiroubles is possibly the most delicate of all the Beaujolais crus, with its light and fragrant character. Located at the highest altitude, this wine offers marked acidity and sublime finesse.
