David Fletcher loves Negronis, Americanos and Spritz cocktails. Even just a good bitter on the rocks. Lockdown inspired him to create a more interesting and less generic version by experimenting with mixing herbs and straight liquor. He and his partners replaced filtered water with quality organic base wine and this instantly gave it more length, depth and complexity. They then blended a selection of 13 herbs and fruits, and Acobia Bitter is the result.
'Acobia' is a word in Piemontese dialect that they use in the process of 'pairing' the ingredients for the unique recipe. Delicious on the rocks, or in one of the suggested recipes found here.
