Type: Champagne
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Country: France
Region: Champagne
Vintage: NV
100% Pinot Noir; aged for 10 months in barrel on the lees, bottled with 3 g/l of residual sugar. Bright red berries, plums and subtle spice waft from the glass. The palate is generous and ripe, with huge texture, sleek acid and a long, saline finish.
Review of previous disgorgement:
"Disgorged in May 2019 with 3.5 grams per liter dosage, the latest rendition of Lahaye's NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs is based on the 2015 vintage. Unfurling in the glass with aromas of pear, white peach, mirabelle plum and buttery pastry, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and concentrated, with ripe but racy acids, appreciable dry extract and a long, energetic finish."
