100% Pinot Noir from Villers Allerand 1er Cru. Vinified in oak barrels, zero dosage.
On the 2018 release, tasted in October 2020:
"From old vines in Villers-Allerand without sulfites. Incredibly high natural alcohol, a little over 13%, and completely biodynamic without dosage. A fantastic wine straight away that will probably never get better than it is now as a two-year-old. Just the right residual sweetness to make the wine easily accessible together with explosive almost bombastic fruit that still has class. Fluffy and gigantic voluminous with creamy notes or crackling red fruit with a dominance of blood orange and sweet rhubarb pie. There are also hints of papaya, aroma apples, blood grape, geranium and a chewable chalk. Wow!!!"
