TLZ stands for Trauben, Liebe und Zeit (Grapes, Love and Time). A still wine from a blend of grapes grown on gneiss soils known for their iron and silica content. The majority consists of Pinot Blanc, with some Chardonnay and small amounts of other varieties. After a natural fermentation, the wines ages for 11 months in used wooden barrels of 500L. This cuvée is bottled unfined, unfiltered and without any added sulfites and so is slightly cloudy with notes of orange peel, white flowers and earth and a salinity on the finish that balances the marked acidity perfectly.
