100% Gaglioppo grown on hillside slopes. Aged for 36 months, of which 12 months in wooden barrels, 12 in concrete vats and another 12 months in bottle before release. The wine offers a very elegant and delicate nose, with balsamic notes and ripe red fruits. On the palate the tannins give the wine a good structure, followed by a finish with a refreshing hint of salinity. Ideally this wine should be given some time to breathe, to discover the full range of flavours including leather, liquorice and dried prunes.
